Cleanup day

A press release from the City Council.
---

CLEAN UP DAY TOMORROW

COUNCILOR Dante Pajo is urging barangays, national government agencies, civic groups and establishments to participate in the clean-up day tomorrow, April 26.

The councilor chairs the committee created by Mayor Vicente Y. Emano to oversee the monthly activity, which aims to give impetus to the city’s cleanliness and beautification drive.

City Hall officials and employees will be out in the streets as early as 6:30 in the morning, bringing needed cleaning materials to sweep streets, clean drainage canals and remove graffiti from public edifices, among others.

In order not to disrupt City Hall services, the mayor ordered office heads to assign a skeletal force in their respective departments to attend to the needs of the city’s constituents during the clean-up day activity.
