CEB
Advisory
April
3, 2013, as of 9:30am
The
following Cebu Pacific flights later today have been cancelled due to
inoperative Runway Threshold Identifier Lights (RTIL) at the Cagayan de Oro
Airport:
April
3, 2013
5J
395/396 Manila – Cagayan de Oro – Manila
5J
216/210 Davao – Cagayan de Oro – Cebu
The
RTIL is a key airport instrument for nighttime operations.
CEB
has been contacting affected guests, and has arranged for an extra Manila –
Cagayan de Oro – Manila flight the next day. Aside from re-accommodation on the
extra flight, passengers’ options include rebooking or rerouting for travel
within 30 days with no penalties, full travel fund or full refund.
Passengers
may also call our reservations hotline (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888 for
details on their re-accommodation.
We
hope for our passengers’ understanding as these cancellations were beyond the
airline's control. Their safety is always our priority.
